IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING UPCOMING RATE CHANGE
The Natural Gas Charge component of your bill is decreasing effective May 7, 2013. The Daily Access and Distribution Charges are not changing.
The net effect of this change is an average overall decrease of 2.1%.
Vermont Gas adjusts the Natural Gas Charge portion of your bill quarterly, up or down, in response to changes in the cost of gas. The wholesale natural gas prices remain low and have declined even further since the last quarterly adjustment to the Natural Gas Charge. The decrease to Natural Gas Charge reflects this change in the wholesale prices.
Following a regulatory review, the commercial rate components will be adjusted as follows:
General Service Low Usage, Low Load Factor - Rate G1
General Service Low Usage, High Load Factor - Rate G2
General Service High Usage, Low Load Factor - Rate G3
General Service High Usage, High Load Factor - Rate G4
