NOTICE TO VGS CUSTOMERS REGARDING VGS’s PROPOSED INTEGRATED RESOURCE PLAN

VGS submitted its 2020 Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) to the Vermont Public Utility Commission (PUC) for review on January 15, 2021. The IRP represents VGS’s plan for meeting the public’s need for energy services safely, reliably, and affordably. The IRP also responds to the call to act now on climate change and describes some of the strategies VGS envisions under its Climate Action Plan to achieve a decarbonized thermal energy future that meaningfully advances Vermont’s goal to achieve 90% renewable energy profile by 2050.

VGS’s IRP can be accessed through its website (below) or through the Public Utility Commission’s electronic filing system (“ePUC”) at http://epuc.vermont.gov/. Search by Case Number 21-0167-PET.  Customers wishing to comment on VGS’s IRP, intervene in this proceeding, or request that the PUC hold a public hearing may do so by making a filing in this case in ePUC or contacting the PUC at: puc.clerk@vermont.gov or 112 State Street, Montpelier, VT 620-2701, or (802) 828-2358.
