Energy Services Program Coordinator

The Energy Services Program Coordinator works to expedite, coordinate and record the exchange of information between Energy Services’ customers and staff as required for successful customer participation in VGS’ DSM programs. This position primarily gathers and records customer and project information for accurate reporting of program coordination for internal and external purposes. Collaboration with other utilities on joint programs and incentives is essential. This position works to ensure successful program delivery for rebate, loan and efficiency programs. The best Energy Services Program Coordinators are adaptive to a fast-paced environment, self-motivated and genuinely passionate about energy efficiency, striving to understand and meet the needs of both VGS’ customers and internal efficiency staff. Field Service Technicians

We are seeking two Field Service Technicians to join our Natural Gas Service team! Responsible for maintenance, repairing, and installing natural gas equipment throughout our northwest VT service territory. This includes repairing minor leaks, turn-ons/offs, setting and changing meters, basic control wiring, installing and servicing all types of domestic gas appliances including conversion burners, central heating, and water heating equipment.


Customer Care Specialist

The Customer Care Specialist provides VGS customers with high quality, effective and efficient service regarding their natural gas service. This position primarily answers incoming phone calls but also responds in writing, proactively reaches out to customers, or works on projects to improve the customer experience. The best Customer Care Specialists are genuinely excited to help customers. They are patient, empathetic and passionately communicative. They can put themselves in their customers’ shoes and advocate for them when necessary. Problem-solving comes naturally to them and they are confident at troubleshooting or investigating if they don’t have enough information. They ensure excellent service standards, solicit customer feedback and work to maintain high customer satisfaction.
