Important Health and Safety Message from VGS President Don Rendall

Safety is at the heart of everything we do at VGS. We are taking COVID-19, also called Coronavirus, very seriously and want to share with you our efforts to keep our customers, our teams, our communities and our families safe as this situation evolves.

VGS is prepared to serve you safely and reliably while our community is impacted by the virus. That means we have the resources to keep your homes and businesses warm and comfortable for as long as necessary. For the last few weeks, we have been active in preparing our  continuity and contingency plans.  We are ready to keep operations ongoing for the long haul.

Also, we are asking for your help. If you’ve scheduled non-emergency service with our Service team, please let us know immediately if you are sick or have been exposed to someone who is, so we can reschedule your appointment.

If you have questions or concerns that can be addressed by email, please use the email message option on our website, VGSVT.com.  This will allow our customer representatives to concentrate on urgent and emergency requests. You can also request to sign up for our email alerts.

If our representatives are providing services at your home, please be patient with our questions about your health before entering homes.

For more information about COVID-19 and what you can do to keep yourself safe, visit the Vermont Department of Health or CDC website.  These links are available on our website, vgsvt.com

We are monitoring the situation very closely and will continue to provide updates as necessary. If you have any questions about our emergency plans, please feel free to reach out to us.

Your safety is our top priority.
