VGS and BED have a long history of working together to raise money and awareness for Spectrum Youth and Family Services, a non-profit dedicated to empowering teenagers, young adults, and their families to make and sustain positive changes through prevention, intervention, and life skills services.
VGS and BED both have teams participating in the virtual sleepout this weekend, but we wanted to do more. This morning, both utilities challenged each other take a very chilly dip to raise even more money. The utility with the most participants would be named the winner, and the losing utility would donate $200 to Spectrum in the other’s name. For the record, VGS won!
